This project was a collaboration between video artist Yandell Walton, programmer Jayson Haebich and animator Toby Edwards. It is an interactive video piece which members of the public can interact with a wall of plants and has been shown at the 2012 Melbourne Festival, Vivid 2013 and ISEA Sydney.
This project uses custom built software that was created by Jayson Haebich using OpenFrameworks and C++. This software controls multiple layers of HD video and outputs them to two projectors at double HD resolution. The software also controlled two XBox kinect cameras which tracked people who were interacting with the artwork, enabling the plant life projected onto the wall to die when people got close to it and re-grow once they moved away from the wall.
